Create your Apple Developer Account

1. Prerequisites

  • Apple ID Account with Two-Factor Authentication: If you don't have an Apple ID, create one here. Ensure that you enable two-factor authentication for the new ID. If you need assistance, visit Apple Support.
  • Apple Device: iPhone/iPad/Mac. We recommend using this device for the registration process. Using a Microsoft PC, for example, could compromise the success of the process.

2. Identify Your Account Type

Apple requires you to enroll based on your business type. Use your Business Registration to help determine the correct enrollment type. Enrolling in the wrong account type may delay your app release.

  • Sole Proprietorship, Single-Person Company: Enroll as Individual.
  • Corporation, Partnership, Limited Liability Company: Enroll as Organization.

3. Enroll in the Apple Developer Program

  • Go to developer.apple.com, click on the "Account" button in the top right corner, and sign in using your Apple ID. Accept the general terms and conditions.

  • Select "Join Apple Developer Program," click on the "Enroll" button in the top right corner, read the requirements carefully, and then click on "Start Enrollment" at the bottom of the page.

    • Select Entity Type: Choose Organization and enter your company information.

    • To enroll as an Organization, you need:

      • Website: Must be publicly available; the domain name should be related to your company.
      • Legal Entity Status: Your company must be a legal entity to enter into contracts.
      • Legal Entity Name: Must match the company name and Tax ID.
      • Legal Binding Authority: The person enrolling must have the authority to sign agreements.
      • DUNS Number: Check if a D-U-N-S® Number is already associated with your company or request one at Apple Developer Support.

    • Verify that the information you entered is correct and click "Continue."

    • Wait for Approval: If you registered as a company, Apple Support will review your profile. You will receive instructions to finalize your registration by email. This process can take up to two weeks. You can check the status of your activation from your developer account here. For more information, please contact Apple Support.

  • After Approval: Log in to Apple Developer and select App Store Connect.

4. Invite the Teyuto Team

To make your app available in the Apple Store, Teyuto needs to be registered as an administrator for your account:

  1. Sign in to App Store Connect with the Apple ID used for the developer account.

  2. Click on "Users & Access," then click the "+" symbol in the top left corner.

  3. Enter the following information:

    • Name: Teyuto Apps
    • Email: [email protected]
    • Role: Admin
    • Developer Resources: Ensure the box for "Access to certificates, identifiers, and profiles" is checked.

  4. Click "Invite."
