Testing and publishing the app

Follow this guide once the Teyuto team notifies you that they have submitted the apps to Internal Test (Google Play) and TestFlight (Apple Developer).

This guide is inclusive of both the Android and iOS tutorial. If you have purchased only one of the two apps, please follow only the appropriate steps.

We won't be handling the compilation of store listings ourselves because, out of respect for your branding, we can't manage it. Therefore, you'll need to handle the compilation of store listings, including screens, according to your needs. The apps are currently in internal testing for Android and TestFlight for Apple. During this testing phase, you'll have the opportunity to test the apps and decide when to publish them.

1- How to Test the Apps:

If you haven't received the test invitation automatically as an admin, you can proceed as follows:

1.1- Android

You can add an email list or copy the direct link to test the app.

1.2- iOS

As indicated by Apple: To begin testing and collecting feedback on your app, create a group and invite testers using their emails. Then, click "Create group" and from the "Tester" section, invite the emails.

2- Before Publication:

2.1- Check if Your Channel is Ready

Pages

The application will use the "user" page created from the dashboard's editor section as the first screen. It's important to ensure that the page is complete before publication. You can add more than one page to your app; it's compatible with pages from the "Home" section. If necessary, you can create additional pages. For example, Netflix uses multiple pages to differentiate between Movies and TV Shows. Remember to send the pages into production!

Note: "Link" format pages will not be available in the app.

Categories

For an optimal user experience, we recommend creating and making public categories for your platform.

2.2- Activate In-App Purchases (IAP):

Before proceeding with publication, ensure everything is in order to avoid app rejection from the stores. Pay particular attention to the in-app payment section. You'll need to link all payments currently created on Teyuto with a mobile in-app purchase, both for Android and iOS. Essentially, if you have a subscription on the platform, you'll need to open the package and link the payment/subscription ID created for in-app purchases.

So, before proceeding to the next steps, carefully follow the IAP activation process.

2.3- Activate Firebase Analytics:

We've been sent an email to your primary email on Firebase. Don't worry, we've taken care of the Firebase configuration and push notifications.

However, we haven't activated Analytics yet. If you wish to do so, simply press a button, and you'll start monitoring in-app statistics.

3- Publication

3.1- Android publication

Before proceeding with publication, it's necessary to fill in all the information in the Store presence / Main store listing section and any other information required when attempting to submit from the Release section.

To publish the app on Android, simply change the app's status from Internal test to production.

3.2- iOS Publication

The iOS app is also ready for submission, as you can see, and it's available for internal testing. To proceed with publication, simply fill in the information in the distribution section regarding all mandatory fields.

To send it into production, add the current version from the Build section.

Fill in all the required fields for the store listing and click Add to review. This will initiate Apple's review process.
