Enable or Disable Live Chat in Live Streaming Videos

Video streaming is often a one-way street. On Teyuto, however, you can increase the engagement of your videos by using different approaches. Depending on your use case, these approaches may include on-screen CTAs, in-player document downloads, and video quizzes, to name a few.

Live chat is one such functionality that enables your users to get involved in the action. If you wish to enable (or disable) live chat, just follow these steps.

  • Click on the Settings Option

First, click on the “Settings” option in the left menu bar.

  • Scroll Down to “Options Related to Live Video”

Scroll down to the section titled “Options Related to Live Video”. You will find it below the “Options Related to On-Demand Video” section.

  • Toggle the “Enable Chat During Live Video” button

Now, just toggle the “Enable Chat During Live Video” option as per your need.

Note: Disabling live chat here won’t remove existing comments on a previously live-streamed video. To do so, disable the comments of on-demand videos.

  • Scroll Down and Press Save

Once done, scroll down and press the “Save” button.
