Adding an Attachment

Sometimes, you may need to share a supporting document with your audience along with your video.

For instance, we need to include a PDF containing the complete package details and additional information about our Majestic Falls Expedition.

In such scenarios, you’ll have to redirect the audience to a third-party website (Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, etc.) Believe it or not, this can affect your overall engagement

At Teyuto, we care about your engagement rate. So, we’ve eliminated this point of friction with our in-player file attachments. Yes, your audience can download your uploaded files right from their video player.

Note: You can attach any file under 20 MB to the video player

To upload any file attachment, follow these quick and easy steps.

  • Open the video editor dialog box

After clicking the edit button on a video, you’ll have this dialog box in front of you:

[Note: You can find the “Edit” button in the hamburger icon next to your video (in the user dashboard). For a step-by-step guide to this dialog box, visit the “Video Editing - Getting Started” guide.]

  • Press the “Attachments” button

On top of your dialog box, you’ll see an “Attachments” button. Press it.

  • Click on the “Choose File” button

Under the “Current File” text, you’ll see the “Choose File” button. Press it.

  • Select your file attachment

Go to the target folder that contains your file attachment and attach the file.

  • Name your attachment

After you’ve selected your file, you can also name your attachment. It’s not compulsory but is a good practice as it helps your audience know what the file is about.

  • Press the “Upload” button

Now, press the upload button and wait as the platform uploads your file. Once uploaded, the file will appear in the “Current file” section.

Bingo! You’ve uploaded the file attachment. With Teyuto, you can upload as many file attachments as you want as long as they are within 20MB in file size. So, spread the love and supporting docs around.

Now that you know how to attach a file to your video player, learn how to make your CTAs more impactful with text and link pop-ups.
